With our 25th reunion in the works, we look forward to a goal of raising $25k through the combined efforts of our class donations. We also are hoping to increase participation of classmates donating to the scholarship this year with a goal of 25%.
A donation of $50 or more gets you a 25th year commemorative pin .
This is one of the many scholarships the Pauahi Foundation offers.
Open to All (Hawaii & US Continent), Full-Time, No minimum GPA
Criteria
Public high school graduate
Demonstrate financial need or be from a financially disadvantaged background
Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors or community organization who can comment on your overall character, achievement and contribution to serve the greater community
Submit essay response: Describe the financial circumstances or hardships you have faced. Consider the following questions as you craft your response: What specific financial challenges have you encountered on your path to college? How have these financial hardships affected your academic and personal life? What strategies or resources have you utilized to manage or overcome these financial challenges?
